Sugarloaf Key / Key West
This is a top notch RV park! If you are headed to key west and need a place to have a vacation (not just park/camp) then this is the place!
I had decided that this was a tough year and set out to have a short vacation. Normally I would not spend $200+ a night to park an RV, but I wanted comfort and view. So I selected a back in – on the water – with the KOA patio.
I have to say – my expectations were exceeded!

THe staff welcomed me than escorted us to the site (which I like). They helped me back in and then gave a little welcome. When we stepped out – wow. Nice and clean pavers with a fire pit and clean Adirondack chairs to sit in as well as a table with more chairs. And then… out back… the water and the beach.
For 4 nights we relaxed. Walked the small beach. We even did some work sitting out at the waters edge. To cold to swim, but there is a pool and hot tub with a bar (which made good drinks, and decent sandwiches. Like I said – we wanted a vacation – so we ate out and drank out 🙂
We made a trip into Key West and ran into some good friends – the Arvid’s.
If you want a vacation, in the Keys, check out this KOA – it is well worth it!
